Successfully leading and delivering projects at these clients.

v      01/10 – Now: IBM Blue Harmony.  Global BI Lead Architect Lead.  Responsible for model design, optimization, code review, query analysis, and go-live cut-over activities, system landscape refresh and transport plan.   Global System Landscapes. Successfully led and completed two major IBM go-lives: Release 0.5 (China), and Release 1.0 (ASIA PAC, and EMEA).

v      08/07 – 01/10: Applied Materials.  BI Architect and Technical Lead.  Hands-on BI configuration and ABAP coding of BI transformation.  BI go-live cut-over activities, system landscape refresh and transport plan. Reviewed shared master data usages between SRM, PO, and CRM.  Resolved master data inconsistency via DTP load sequence. To provide supply logistics disruption visibility, custom created EM and SNC business objects including info-objects, info-providers, DSOs, and multi providers.  Enhanced extract structures for Event Header, Info and Control Parameters (/SCMB/BWX_ALERT_STR) to correctly align partner_from and partner_to, and also to extract additional fields (PO, PO Item, and ACK) by enhancing ABAP user-exit (EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001).   Mapped source events to BW extract structure, created BW Profiles in EM (/SAPTRX/BWEX).  Created data flow to provide transport visibility into shipment status at various transport legs for different materials at PO, PO Item, and Project, WBS Element level.  Created transformation and mappings for both SNC and EM areas.  Wrote ABAP start routines and transformation for timestamp resolution data lookup and conversion.

v      02/07 to 08/07: Shell, Global Oil and Gas Company.  Project to build a global SAP BI Center of Excellence (BI COE).  Coordinated with project team members in London and Malaysia to develop KT transfer plan.  Developed issue escalation process and hand-off points between team members. Analyzed and evaluated BI architect and model to trouble shoot performance issues, system bottlenecks and evaluated BI Accelerator (BI-A) as a potential solution; Develop BI-A development guide and operational guide; Presented BIA lessons learned at ASUG conference in Orlando.  Good understanding of CO-PA analysis and problem solving related to contribution margin, cost allocation.  (CE1/2 line item, CE3 segment and CE4 segment table knowledge).  Monitored CO-PA acquisition through KEB5.

v      09/05 – 02/07: British Petroleum (BI Northstar Project).  to deliver FI reports and planning to Business Analyst, to Hyperion.  Assessed deployment and sustainment risks from incorporating legacy Business Objects Crystal reports to new features of Netweaver 2004s front-end applications and tools for different reporting requirements and for Integrated Planning (IP).  Query Designer integration with Integrated Planning = BEX query designer, WAD, and BEX analyzer.  Report Designer = Formatted print.  WEB Analyzer = Alert, IB.  ABAP code review and design sign-offs

v      01/05 – 09/05: Anheuser-Busch.  Lead developer for BW/BPS 3.5 ICR project to deliver automated cost reporting to standardize content, format, and variance calculation.  Re-designed and re-architected the current information flow to stream line the data load process chain to take advantages of the ODS delta capabilities.  Re-evaluated and re-designed the info-cube model to improve the query performance.   Investigated integration methodologies from Business Objects Crystal Analysis (BO OLAP intelligence) and Crystal reports to SAP BW.   Exposed BW metadata via BO OLAP Universe for BO Live Office interface and Xcelsius interactive analytics and dashboarding.

v      09/03 – 12/04: NASA, Washington, DC.  Lead developer and application support of NASA PBF.  Specific functions include Budget Formulation and Master Data Management for budgetary structure and non-SAP data into SAP.  Extensive BEX Query development.  Assisted to develop SEM-BPF budget plan from pre-POP to Congressional approval to Presidential authorization.  Good knowledge of budget formulation process – both from detail, bottom up center planning and from top down HQ budget authorization.   Knowledge of planning functions such as BPS formula, and FOX to distribute funds from HQ agency to various projects’ WBS elements, to plan budgets, and to ensure financial accountability.  Usage of BPS0, UPSPM, and UPSPL to configure planning objects, and planning profiles.   Performance tuning and monitoring of layout execution.

v      06/03 – 09/03 : Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Columbus, OH.  SAP Platinum BW consultant. Resolved issues related to retail week and calendar week conversion with a 4-4-5 period.  Analyzed alternative designs to implement the conversion via update routines, or BAdi interface (IF_EX_OPENHUB_TRANSFORM) and its TRANSFORM method.  Via SPRO, configure special fiscal week to support the conversion.  Without the configuration, the DATE_TO_PERIOD_CONVERT will assume 53 weeks in a year and returns wrong fiscal week.

v      01/03 – 06/03: International Papers, Memphis, TN. SAP Platinum BW Consultant.  Team Lead responsible for managing,architecting and modeling the BW-APO interface, for data extraction and generating reports.

v      06/02 – 01/03: CHEP, Orlando, FL. BW Technical and Deployment Manager.  Successfully led the BW team to implement a global BW rollout w/in budget and on-time.

v      04/01 – 06/02: Pennzoil Quaker State, Houston, TX.  SAP Platinum BW Consultant, Team Lead. Developed and automateda complete technical process to extract data from R/3 to BW and then to APO.  Successfully and timely implemented the first phase and within the budget.

v      04/99 – 04/01: Becton Dickinson, Franklin Lakes, NJ. Platinum SAP BW Consultant, Team Lead. Upgrade and APO Interface.  Co-led the BW project for customer sales commission.  Technical lead for issues related to BW transports, and BW system builds.  This was the first project where all three environments: R/3, BW, and APO are implemented concurrently.
